Got one and I love it. Prefer the 16570 to the new 216570

I think he means bad photos and asking if there's any love for certain watches.

True but it might make more sense to do a post of your collection instead of posting 3 threads. The question is a bit pants too.

I just think it looks a bit forced when you have posted once until today your second post asks how many posts to get in sc, then you bombard with posts including asking is there a limit to how many posts you can post a day.

Yeah it is discussion but maybe you could add to your OP by adding why YOU have love for it? It's a very well loved watch on here, though.

At least you honest but I don't think the post limit was set so people would speed through it. Looks like you posted once in the past 4 months and the rest today.

I wore one every day for around 5 years. Great watch. I do prefer the size of the new one though, love the 42mm in white.
It's just a matter of time...

Yes, but the polar 42mm version only ;)

Even better lume than a SEIKO which isn't easy to do.

To get back to the EXP2, I love my polar 42mm one, looks great on bracelet or NATO, very legible, and less in your face than any other sports Rolex.

It was my fist Rolex flipped it to get a white face Daytona. Wish I had kept it now.

IMO, one of the best 'under the radar' Rolexes out there

Not sure if it's the bezel being the same color, I really don't know, but it's not my taste

I have a few watches to sell first but got a feeling the 16570 could be my first Rolex, would like the bigger font bezel 16550 but like other sports models seem to be shooting up but the 16570 is still affordable, think I would go black dial though.

5 years as a daily wearer and it's been great. An excellent first Rolex in my opinion.

Not for me either. I've tried the Explorers (1 & 2) on several times but felt nothing for them. I like simple dials but they are just a bit too bland even for me.

Although I have the rather better known Submariner Date and Speedy, the black dial 16570 remains my absolute favourite. All you need in a watch, and comparatively stealthy too

Just a heads up if anyone is interested in picking up one of these. I was having a browse around Cardiff St.David's centre on Saturday, and Watches of Switzerland had a used white faced 40mm explorer 2, head only with signs of fair usage, in the window for £2495, just reduced from £3900.

Seemed a fair price to me, in fact I was very tempted to pick it for myself.
