Don't own one but we look after 2 and my opinion is that they drive fantastically and are very well put together. The service costs aren't horrific and parts are easily available via the factors rather than the dealer.
Anyone have a late model Mercedes ML350cdi that they'd care to share their experience thereof?
Anyone with similar styled vehicles feel free to chip in!
Cheers

This has got the makings of a super exciting thread. I don't have a Mercedes ML350cdi but I do have a Pashley push bike which is even more interesting.
My dad and my sister have ML’s, and generally they’ve been excellent cars. Dealer network servicing is a little on the pricey side, but they both use well regarded local independents after the warranty expired. I found them more comfortable though a little less involving than the X5 I had so if I was in the market for a similar vehicle then I would go for another X5.
The wife had an earlier model (61plate) ML300 and loved it. Apart from being expensive to run (the later ones are cheaper with better fuel economy and lower road tax), it was typical Mercedes. Very reliable, very easy to drive and just a nice place to be.
The early ones were utter utter **** and built in the US.
Not sure about the new ones, but if they are built as well as my E350, then they would be excellent.
I must admit I found myself looking at a ML63 recently - at lot of bang for the money.
Whoever does not know how to hit the nail on the head should be asked not to hit it at all.

Yes they are, at least over here. The service costs aren't horrific
Here you go!Dealer network servicing is a little on the pricey side,
Current Merc service prices over here are on the same level as Porsche's! (120 euro/hr, ex 21% VAT!) I hope this is different in the UK.
