As an early birthday present for me Mrs V managed to get tickets for the performance of Oklahoma! at the Albert Hall yesterday.
It was absolutely superb.
I was surprised to find comedian Marcus Brigstocke (Ali Hakim) and actress Belinda Lang (Aunt Eller) appearing in it and they were excellent.
These are the opening few minutes - the whole performance can be viewed in iplayer and I would certainly recommend it.

My mum absolutely loved this.
As much as I want to like classic musicals and often have done, I really did not enjoy this one at all. As markrlondon suggests, maybe more appeal for the older audience? (Tin hat on ....)
