    Omega Railmaster Limited Edition

A friend of mine just purchased this and I got to try it on and never thought I would like the feel of such a small watch but I'm converted. Do you reckon it'l hold its value?

I got the seamaster a couple of days ago and am waiting for the railmaster.
Looking good in those photos but I'm not convinced it will be an investment though.
    Hugely impressed with the Seamaster!

Bit small perhaps but looks very wearable. Has the look of the 300 about it. Nice watch will have to look at it when I'm in town.

Ahh I'd love just a basic speedy personally! It's on the list! I did see a really nice Seamaster in the window... one day!!

Of the three the Speedmaster is most likely to trade above retail, whereas I'd be very surprised if the railmaster or even the Seamaster did.

To me, regarding these variants, the railmaster is just pointless when the seamaster sits next to it.

Yep, the railmaster doesn't do anything that the Seamaster doesn't do better.

If these are in the shops already then the Speedy can't be far behind.

Im genuinely not into the decayed lume effect that Omega are flogging at the moment, so this watch would never be for me.
The proportions on the wrist, however, seem lovely and - my opinion only - it's very nearly a lovely watch.

Thanks ach5, thankfully my friend likes the watch! And in the future I guess who knows

Tried this on today in LGW and it is IMO puke inducing.

It is way too bling. It makes no sense. The aged dial against the shiny bezel, case and bracelet looks terrible!

The shiny bracelet it appears most of the thread are lambasting is surely based on the 1039 bracelet (eye wateringly expensive to get hold of). These are quite shiny and give off a fantastic sci-fi Dan Dare look to Speedies etc. I wish I had one rather than my more every day. 1171.
I can get the issue with some people perception of faux Lume but to me the bracelet is a fairly faithful rendition of the original. I also remember people kicking off about the Longine 67' Diver Bracelet that was very similar.
    Below is a 1039

Not sure how widely available these are yet but walked past WOS in Cardiff about an hour ago and they have one in the window!
