1675 on ebay - Did someone get a bargain or am I missing something?

I watched this auction end at £5700 which i thought was a bargain for a 1675.
I'm certainly no expert on these models but the dial looks different to what I have seen before. Do you think the buyer got a bargain or is there more to this watch than meets the eye?

The hand relume isn't great, there are a few marks on the dial, all in all I would say an ok price. I was watching it too.

Expensive for me, dial looks pretty poor, hands relumed.

How much would a decent dial/handset set you back on VRF? And how long to wait to find one?

And it's the same seller...... someone must have tipped him off that it was underpriced ?
I think he is dreaming at the revised asking price tbh

I think he's pushing his luck a bit with that price.

He could be in hot water if the original buyer didn't pull out and he has relisted based on a tip off. Like my mum used to tell me "No one likes a greedy guts!"

Indeed. Seller has perhaps taken his/her cue from Austin Kaye, who listed one for £12.5k a fortnight ago and hasn't yet found a buyer.

It's difficult to pull an auction (especially after 57bids have been made) and then reliant - unless there is a "factual error" in the description!
He could end up with several complaints against him from bidders for his cancel/relist.

The seller is now trying to sell it in pieces!

Or maybe the seller was also the highest bidder?

Wouldn't they end up paying their own fees for no return?
