Thanks. Is it designed to be a 5mm extension?

Looks like there is no micro adjustment?

care should be exercised in the cutting of the rubber pieces.

    Pictures will be fine. Thanks.

I've spent all week getting in and out of wetsuits and I'm not convinced a simple divers extension is going to work on thin (3mm) wetsuits. I'm thinking an Isofane strap would be much better.......

I would agree - most of these extension things are pointless - depends entirely on the thickness of suit, how deep you go, temperatures...

Having said that, I have a completely similar extension to the rubber strap on my actual diving watch - a Tissot Sea-Touch. I just put it low on my wrist, and fold the wetsuit sleeve up a tad. Most diving I do is in the Caribbean anyway, so rarely wear a suit, and if I do it's a shorty.

Thanks for the pics. I only go snorkelling (lol! With a dive watch!!), so I only wear a 3mm suit. Folding the sleeve is a good idea.

Think I might not worry about what bracelet or strap I get with the watch, pretty sure an Isofane is the way forward and involves less faffing when getting into the suit.

Is that a U1 you have?

In fact, thinking about it, when I have gone in the cold (here in the UK), I've worn the sleeve over the watch to stop myself bashing it on something as it's so bloody murky down there. Then just peel off the sleeve to check time. TBH I've always got a dive computer on the other wrist, or the instructor does!

    Not a U1:

    656. The clasp is bigger than the watch, but I like the rubber - works well for me at work, lugging servers and networking gear around.
