Cleaning a textile strap, with leather backing

My IWC Spitfire has a lovely textile strap, bolstered with leather to the strap back, and leather trim across the pin-buckle holes on the front.

The textile is looking a bit grotty - no damage, but a bit stained. I think with a bit of olive oil, plus some sweat and what-have-you.

They are £150 to replace - excluding buckle - so I defo want to clean it carefully.

Any idea the best product/way to proceed?

Honestly with leather backed textiles I scrub the fabric with some liquid soap and a toothbrush to remove grime, rinse, and blot dry immediately. then lay flat on a radiator to dry out.
If you only scrub the top of the strap you can usually avoid soaking the leather backing too much.

NB I am a cowboy about such things though.
