    Incoming Daytona 116519LN

I know I posted this in my collection but this watch really deserves its own thread.

That is sensational. In fact, if I could own one watch in the current lineup it would be that. Congratulations!

I think it is a very nice watch but it really should come with a proper bracelet for £21k.

I'm finding it quite hard to get a good pic on my iPhone as it picks up so much reflection,
You really do have to see this watch in the flesh to appreciate the dial as the pictures do not do it justice.

With Rolex pricing, if it came with a bracelet it would be 28K
I actually love the Oysterflex strap, It is really comfortable and I like the way it makes the watch fly under the radar.

Made an inquiry at an AD and after a phone call they said they were just being released and I could get it in approximately one week. I think they were as surprised as me though. Picked it up 9 days ago

I've been considering the rose gold/black dial version. This has possibly changed my mind on that one though, it's stunning!!

I actually like the recent versatility Rolex seem to be offering - Rose Gold Yachtmaster only on rubber, but Sky-Dweller on croc, or bracelet, now the Daytona with choices too.

Must admit, as the Sky-Dweller, is like to see options available at point of sale for most models.

Looks lovely that, and good value too when compared to the stainless steel version on the 2nd hand market

Pure class that mate. One of the nicest looking watches I've ever seen. Wear it and enjoy it.

The best Daytona in the current line up. I was amazed how comfortable it was with the oysterflex too. At some point I think I'll sell my Bi-metal Daytona and get one.

Not seen this one before.Looks a corker and I'm partial to a bit of rubber.
At the price point though i would be torn between this and a 40mm day-date.

Price of gold and the content require means you need to pay closer to £30k for a bracelet, plus like most quality precious metal watches they wear a lot more pleasantly on a strap

It's what I like about it really,
I wear a Bremont most of the time which is quite chunky but it's nice to have some contrast.
The only problem (and it is a 1st world problem) is most of my shirts have a 1/2" larger cuff on the left sleeve which isn't necessary with the Daytona

    Love that.
And not one I've ever seen in real life either so that would be a big 'plus' for me too.
