Those ads are a definite candidate for most irritating on TV and, when it was a 'historical Admiral' in the ads it made 'some' kind of sense, now it's just some fruitloop who comes to work dressed as an Admiral and over-excitedly shouts ideas at her staff, probably due to too much coffee...Best way to look at it in my view.
No point getting animated about it all - there's nothing anyone can do about it anyway.
As an aside I hope that that the woman in the Admiral Insurance advert is well paid. I rather watch her than most of the people on the BBC list.
I now actively avoid Admiral when looking for quotes!

It's a big improvement on the early ads when they had the Scottish male nurse from East Enders doing it.
I agree that the ads are quite bizarre - the writers can't seem to make there minds up as to whether they want then to be quirky and ironic or earnest and traditional. In consequence they waver between the two.
I digress however.

In this transgender world (currently 58 gender options atm) I have decided that I am going to become a lesbian.
Here you go buddy ,she's been in quite a bit more then we realise.Best way to look at it in my view.

Facebook introduced dozens of options for users to identify their gender today - and although the social media giant said it would not be releasing a comprehensive list, ABC News has found at least 58 so far.
Previously, users had to identify themselves as male or female. They were also given the option of not answering or keeping their gender private.
User's can now select a "custom" gender option.
"There's going to be a lot of people for whom this is going to mean nothing, but for the few it does impact, it means the world," Facebook software engineer Brielle Harrison told the Associated Press. Harrison, who worked on the project, is in the process of gender transition, from male to female.
Facebook will also allow users to select between three pronouns: "him," "her" or "their."
