I'm at 2100 in the queue, do you think I stand a chance?

I had one of the lower spec models back in the day and then systematically replaced virtually every part of it to form another bike. It was the blue one with the yellow pads.

In the end it had Skyway Tuff wheels, Skyway TA chrome teardrop frame, Oakley mushroom grips, 'freestyle' double bar handlebars, layback aero seat etc.

I used to spend all day every day (when not at school) riding the thing, or cleaning/buying bits/maintaining it. Those were the days....

They were the days! I did a similar thing with my Kuwahara Nova. I remember swapping a lad my Kuwahara Laser bars for a set of CWs - what was I thinking?

    The Burner is a classic.

I had the chrome version and did a bit of racing up at Wallsend at the Powder Monkey track.

Great memories now being lived through my 10 year old who is racing in the London Series racing.

And that's it. All sold out with me still 534th in the queue.

Apparently they had 6,600 people pre-register for the 300 bikes being made available.

Pretty sure the skeletal remains of my discarded Burner frame and other bits are still in my Dad's garage.

Sounds like it may be worth getting them on eBay!

The Powder Monkey - there's another blast from the past. I used to go out with a lass from Billy Mill.
