Omega Seamaster Quartz - Date Issue

I bought the Doris a Seamaster Quartz "Bond" watch for Christmas, it was from 2001 but in great nick. She's let's say quite "Mechanically unsympathetic" so I thought the quartz would be fine...almost

She dropped it a week or so ago and the pin fell out of the bracelet, AD srted that in no time, she is now saying the data isn't changing over ?

Any ideas wat might cause this (low battery?) or where to send a 16 year old quarts to have it looked at (ie not Omega)
