I seem to remember the graphics being a lot better 😁
They do look dated compared to the the modern generations but for gameplay you can fault a lot of the games...plus you get that old school arcade feel 👍🏻
The graphics probably were better. They were designed for a CRT TV, not a modern LCD. They would have looked a lot less pixelly. There have been some attempts to emulate the effect, it's never perfect.
Saturday morning playing games on the SNES. Ahhh, bliss.

The CRT output mode of the snes mini does a pretty good job.
If anyone has a spare, one they don't want or a lead on stock. Please let me know. Keep missing them by seconds I think. Have the NES from last year and would love to add this alongside it.

Anyone else seen that both classic versions can be "updated" and more Roms installed. Apparently there are 700 SNES games - that's one he'll of a back catalogue!

Quite fancy one, but would never pay over the odds for one.
I got one Saturday night from Smyth's toys in Stoke on Trent. There were 8 left in stock when the website indicated there were none.
The two staff behind the counter said it's always worth calling into Smyth's stores as the online stock system on their website does not update correctly, they also said the mini nes had been much more popular.
Ditto, but unfortunately, supply & demand might see them sold before long.
I registered on Stock Informer, so now I'm on the list on the French & German Amazon for one!
Mines not going anywhere, I grew up with my SNES and am loving a mini version with hdmi 😊
Me too ref stockinformer. I had one of the John Lewis stock in my basket, and despite credit card details entered, still didn’t get it.
I’ll be watching out for more stock on the run up to Xmas.

Slightly off topic, has anyone come across the new Sega flashback mini console? Supposed to have launched by now but not seeing any about and hearing of issues with it....
Has anyone used Hakchi2 to add more titles? Just seen this mentioned elsewhere and no nothing about it. Would be good to add some of the games I have in cart form for my original SNES.

Just resurrecting this to say new stock of the Classic Mini NES is available, just picked one up from Argos. Not sure how much stock is around, hopefully they have rectified to shocking shortage with the first release this time around.
They are great fun, love playing MARIO Kart on mine
I hardly ever play on mine. I think it’s likely to do with wired controllers, meaning I have to sit a few meters from the TV, on the floor.
