Thread: Rubber B for 16610, does it fit a 116710?

    Rubber B for 16610, does it fit a 116710?

Quick question. I've got a Rubber B strap (with tang buckle) that I used to wear on a Rolex 16610 Sub. I don't own the sub any more, but a mate of mine has a GMT II BLNR (i.e. the newer ceramic GMT 116710) and is interested in trying a rubber strap on it. Would my Rubber B fit, given that I believe both watches have 20mm lug width?

    Thanks
    Dave

It will fit but it's not the right strap for that watch.

Not right in an aesthetic sense, in a taste sense, or in that there is a better fitting Rubber B?

Aethetic. There are different model types of rubber b. Both 20mm but different lug shapes and case widths means it's won't look perfect

Ah, right. That's good to know. Thanks
