It's a typical British summer :0(

Eleven degrees, lashing with rain, white skies and howling wind.
It's more like November than almost July :(

Central heating on - hopefully not for too long.
I do feel the cold as I grow older!
That's the heating back on. It's been off for weeks.
Likewise in Glasgow. 11 degrees this AM p***ing down all day. Mercifully didn't have to turn on the heating though.
If this is summer.............
Global warming Pish. Its the Jet Stream again its dropped again, its needs to be over Scotland then we all get good weather.
Hate this weather. Wish i had the cahoonas to move to a warmer country.
Prefer it to last week's heatwave! Something in between would be nice.
Paul
I'm the opposite, love the heat.
Supposed to be playing cricket tomorrow WTF!!!
My fault everybody so my apologies
Attending Goodwood FOS for the first time on Thursday so it was inevitable
Should be clearing up and getting brighter towards the end of the week/weekend. Hopefully FoS will be unaffected...... fingers crossed.

Variety is spice of life. Stop moaning.

Visiting Paris this week where it's hot and wet. I swear the hotel is turning the heating on at night. Unbearable
Can't say I hate the change, having a day or two of autumn in summer gives me great nostalgia :)
Can't believe I put the heating on yesterday but it just felt so cold and miserable.
It's not much better today unfortunately, so it could well be on again.
Last week everyone was moaning because it was too hot
We are delicate little creatures aren't we?
It's been pissing down here since yesterday. It must be wet, because I found a golden frog in the house when I came down this morning.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
I'm sure foreigners must think we're mad. Britain, especially the "middle part" (i.e. not Northern Scotland or Southern England), has laughably mild, boring (if unpredictable) weather. It never really gets very cold, nor does it get really warm, so if we gets spell where it's 10 degrees warmer or cooler than the expected mean, there's hysteria.
If it's anywhere between highs of low teens and low twenties, it could be just about any time of year (other than perhaps summer/winter extremes). Our annual temperature variation is minuscule. (The daily mean in Manchester only varies by just over 10 degrees)
We have Club Days in this area, these are parades, processions and fun fairs that tour the area to various villages each Saturday through June and July. Ours is the second last Saturday in June. In thirty years I can only remember two when the weather has been sunny and hot. Many have been cold and wet and windy and most have just been cloudy and chilly.
The question is, when you venture out in foul weather do you get wet or do you feel the rain. Life's too short . . .
F.T.F.A.
Just got back from an hours walking and I swear it's cold enough for snow - my hands are blue.
Everyone complains about the weather but nobody does anything about it
Hacking away the ice from the windscreens?
Funny weather overhere: last Thursday the single hottest day in Holland over the last 50 years. Two days later: rain, rain, rain. Today the weather is going nuts: in the middle of the country (where I live), it's raining cats and dogs; streets are flooded, the sewer system can hardly cope with the water. Wellies, raincoats etc. I was in the north - one hour's drive from where I live. 5 degrees warmer, very pleasant weather - enough warmth to wear shorts!
Menno
What a change eh... last wednesday 34 degrees and decided to walk across hyde park...
Heating on.
And for the record I was one of the few who didn't complain about the beautifully hot weather the other week, and frankly was bemused that 99.9% of the country were!
10 degrees and hasn't stopped raining for 24 hours with localised flooding. Bloody depressing.
London's had some fine weather :)
Been very nice and warm round here.
Sunny all day predicted and 27 degrees.
Just right.
I must admit as I get older I really dislike cold weather.
Cheers,
Neil.
Me too Neil, although it's the constant rain and damp that affects me the most. It's amazing we have such weather variations in such a small country. It's infuriating that the media keep talking about the fantastic weather we've had this year when the reality is that it's confined to London and the South East.
We didn't get a single day last year when we could sit out. We've had a few already this year but I'll guarantee the summer will be less than 10 nice days in total.
If I had my time again I'd have moved south in my twenties.
Warm but completely overcast here. Perfect weather for the guys who are going to dig out our rather large Leylandii hedge and replace it with a fence.
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Unseasonably warm in Menorca right now - was already 32-35C at start of June whereas usually when we go it's around 25C. Have to admit it was a shock coming back after 2 weeks in our flat. At least we're going again end of August.
My baby son doesn't mind though - he sleeps better in cooler weather.
Just checked the forecast and it's the same for the next ten days :(
Due to be 27 here tomorrow. Too hot for me, but then back to normal thankfully. Pleasant. I like being able to wear a light jacket to carry stuff in.
