    Which to go

Due personal circumstances need to raise some cash so some of the collection needs to go :(
Not sure how many yet and the most logical first one to go is the JLC Master as there is some duplication with the MUT and doesn't really get worn and also the Omega AT

Rolex BLNR - bought after going to the AD to buy my 'grail' the Daytona, worn occasionally reluctant to sell as its so difficult to get hold off if circumstances change
Rolex Explorer 2 - my daily wear so probably going to keep that
MUT - my preference for a dress/special occasion watch
Omega AT - wedding watch and hardly worn but I do love that blue dial
JLC Master - bought as a daily wear under a collar but the Explorer seems to be my go to watch

Tough choices but I'd sell the blue monstrosity first as the market for them is good at the moment and it's the only one i don't really like
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

I'd go with your instinct and sell the JLC Master first.

Though I see the argument for selling the BLNR while prices are still strong, if you aren't wearing it much.

Depends partly on how much cash you need to raise.

BLNR. WF no longer pays premium for these so cash in.

    Agree with this.

I don't dislike the BLNR per se, but I don't think it's quite worth the premium.

Move the blnr on. Not as difficult to get hold of a they once were, and if you're lucky you'll pick one up down the road for less.

I am interested to know what sort of money WF pay for them. They have one in there for £7750 but I know they fluctuate day to day a few hundred.

    Thanks

A really lovely collection and sorry to hear you have to split em up.

The blue think must go, the MUT surely has to be a keeper, I really do miss my Hometime and my set is not the same since being JLC free.

    Good luck.

Very nice it was on my list of wants but couldn't justify another GMT at the time. Might b back on the list in future though :)

So you are going to let go of that wedding watch?

Probably a good decision to ditch the Omega and one of the JLCs. Have you thought about swapping the MUT for a nice Datejust/OP/Explorer while you're at it?

Going to keep the MUT it's a very nice watch in the flesh.

Long term plan is to get a new Datejust 41 with blue dial and plain bezel if they ever release one to replace the Omega might be a few years though :)

I'd push the boat out and say the BLNR and JLC master would be good to go. It's not so much what you'd miss - you'd be left with a nice 3 watch collection that covers all the bases. Daily wear, dressing up, and somewhere in between in the AT.

I'd ditch the JLC's and the Omega and keep the Rolex pair.

Get the cash out on those three because their values are only going to go down.
The two Rolex will hold better in case circumstances get tricky again.

Kinda surprised there are so many voting for the BLNR and having a less than positive view of it. It's only been 4 years since its release and we can expect it to be continued for another few years. Looks like it will only go south from here

Well I'm a BLNR owner and love it - but still advocating it's release to the wild. It'll generate the most cash, while the market is buoyant, while leaving a well rounded collection (Including a GMT) behind.

I have the BLNR in my collection as well. I find it suitable for most occasions and whenever I don't know what to wear, more often tham not I end up with it. Can't see myself moving it on, but who can tell the future...

I'm finding it's my go to daily so a cull is in order.
