Yeah, cool. Faux/hommage/a la mode super compressor case, very retro.

A beauty indeed, with a very vintage look.

Love all aspects of it, especially the color combination, case and bracelet.

Apart from the bracelet, I like what they've done with that.

How strange, i was thinking about this watch last night.
It has grown on me a lot since it was announced. I've seen some good pictures of it.
I don't like it having ChronOris on it when it isn't a chronograph but i can see myself picking one up.

Saw this in one of the weekend newspaper supplements....very nice until I saw the case size....too small for my taste! Reminded me a little of the Omega Dynamics.....

That's true actually. I didnt realise it is 39mm. A 42mm would be nice, like the Speedmaster Mark II reissue.

Oris must be on the up with their retro designs. I have been waiting for this new Limited Edition tribute to their own 1917 watch.

It was discussed on here a while back and the main concern was the residuals. Sorry to bring that up again as people are tied of hearing about it, but that was the number one feedback response, great watches but never pay RRP especially if you are prone to flipping.

Oris has been killing it lately with their designs.

    +1 looks great.

While this one is not really for me (the 1917 on the other hand ...), Oris have been throwing some really nice stuff out there!

Very nice but rather derivative of the Omega Chronostop 41mm, exact same red triangle second hand. Even the name seems pinched, though the Omega actually was a chronograph (of sorts).

Also available with rotating inner bezel on some models.

Has anyone had a hands on of this yet? Really like the retro style, modest size and Grey/Orange theme.

Woah, where did Longines pull that one from? It's lovely. Missed that when it was announced.

Longiens Heritage 1945 - £1330 pre-order from Jura. Not too bad at all.

Nice but that sub dial is just a little too close the hands for my liking...

Apparently Longines agree, but were constrained by available movements. I still think it's a good looking thing.

Is there anywhere other than Jura that I can pre-order that Longines from?

Saw that when Hodinkee did a write up on it initially.
Lose the sub dial altogether and it would be lovely.
