    Tricky

Anything worth listening to beyond Maxinquaye & Pre-Millennium Tension? The latter not being as good as the former, for me at least.

People call him Tricky for a particular reason.

Saw him at Brixton years ago. I've got Blowback and Nearly God as well as Maxinquaye and they're all brilliant albums.

I saw him at Manchester Academy roughly 1999 and it was really, really good. Other than the two albums above, I have never tried anything else, so I will try those Tony - cheers

Some of Tricky's recent music is a return to his best days in my opinion.

Goldie referred to Rob in a interview when mentioning Banksy and the media think Robert Del Naja 3D is Banksy.

Banksy and 3D are friends but two different people.

He is called Rob though. ;).

Saw him last year in Bristol sadly he was rubbish. I think he has 'issues' to deal with, shame i would love to see a return to the brilliance of his 90s work.

I know most would hate the idea but after Maxinquaye I really like the 'best of' A Ruff Guide. Sadly, when I finally saw Tricky a few years ago at the O2 (indigo room) he was terrible. And that was despite Martina Topley-bird also appearing. At least I. An still listen to the studio recordings

Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

Funny I never managed to get into Tricky myself (stop it matron) but might suggest giving Roots Manuva try, defo starting with brand new second hand.
