People call him Tricky for a particular reason.
Anything worth listening to beyond Maxinquaye & Pre-Millennium Tension? The latter not being as good as the former, for me at least.

"A man of little significance"
bit OT but the rumour is that 3D from massive attack has been outed as banksy
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
I saw him at Manchester Academy roughly 1999 and it was really, really good. Other than the two albums above, I have never tried anything else, so I will try those Tony - cheers
Well that's two votes for "Blowback" so I'll download it now
Saw him last year in Bristol sadly he was rubbish. I think he has 'issues' to deal with, shame i would love to see a return to the brilliance of his 90s work.
Got Blowback via Amazon Prime Music and listening now - thanks folks
I know most would hate the idea but after Maxinquaye I really like the 'best of' A Ruff Guide. Sadly, when I finally saw Tricky a few years ago at the O2 (indigo room) he was terrible. And that was despite Martina Topley-bird also appearing. At least I. An still listen to the studio recordings

as a direct result of this thread, I'm now spending the evening endeavouring to listen to the whole of the massive attack back catalogue
I against I - how many 'a' listers can you fit in one video?
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Funny I never managed to get into Tricky myself (stop it matron) but might suggest giving Roots Manuva try, defo starting with brand new second hand.
