I've found a watch buckle and strap 30% cheaper in th US then sourcing here only issue is I can't seem to figure out the customs charges!
Total good are a value of $1000 inc shipping etc
Can anyone help with a rough figure I'd be charged ontop of this?

I have just purchased a bracelet for my Glycine from the company in Switzerland, & it was marked, 'spare part, replacement bracelet' and paid no import duty, just popped through my letterbox by my regular postie. Perhaps you might avoid import duty if the supplier marked it thus?
Last time I imported from the USA it was duty (though I don't know what level of duty is applicable to a watch strap) plus cost of import, plus VAT which is applicable to the item AND the cost of importing.
It is a pain, and has really put me off buying from the US now.
Still, soon we may well have this to look forward to when buying anything from the EU as well.
So clever my foot fell off.
