I'm on my 8th Sea Dweller! 3 of them have been SD4K's and the others all 16600's!

I am on my fourth IWC GST Aquatimer.
I have had four Aerospaces (still have 2).
I am on my second Rolex Seadweller.
I just sold my second Omega SMP.
I want another Rolex Oysterdate Precision. Had 2 and sold them both, regret it. They're just so classy and small.
Just received 2 Pulsar G10s today and a CWC G10 this week, no idea of how many of them I've had and sold...
For me;
Omega SMP
CWC RN diver
Pulsar military Chrono
Steinhart Diver
Seiko SKZ007
All bought twice!

I only sell stuff that I don't want back.
Cheers,
Neil.
2 Dreadnoughts
4 Monsters
2 PRS 3 Broadarrows
3 Pam hommages
I have sold a brand new rolex BLNR after I found and bought a mint condition one from a member in a facebook trading group.
Yes, well am about to. I sold off the WUS F71 project watch with the acrylic and ordered the sapphire one.
Just didn't find it as warm and classic as many have said.
Not really, to be honest. It was to a friend, so there was no profit made. The arrangement suited me well - I really wanted a pre-loved set but none was available when I pulled the first trigger and placed the order. The watch took a month to arrive, and even before it did, the one that I have now was available and I was the fastest fingers on that one!
My Riseman, and my MTG; the MTG was purchased back from the person I sold it to.
Squale 1521 blue for me, just got rid and already having sellers remorse and looking for another.
I have bought several watches that some months later the seller wants to buy back... So, I sell them back to them. Then some months later they contact me again and ask if I want to buy the watch back from them!
Gimme a break.
Yes, I did: I sold an old scratchy but polished to death Citizen Eco Drive GMT....
...to find a a way better one with even a more attractive blue dial and legible bezel....
I think that I've only re-bought the actual watch that I'd previously owned once. It was my first, bought new from a re-seller, 2004 Moonwatch, sold because I then had a couple of vintage Speedys and felt that I didn't want/need a modern one. However, I re-bought it a few months later when it cropped up on the SC again, but then sold it, for the second time, shortly afterwards. That was probably 3 years ago. Then last year I bought a 2014 Moonwatch, following a WTB on the forum. I was actually looking for an older Speedmaster but couldn't refuse this one when it was offered to me, so now I have it, my '68 Transitional and an original (black) Snoopy. The modern one has its place and will probably be kept.
The model that I have repeatedly bought, didn't like, sold and bought another, at least 8 or 9 times has been a Seiko diver. These have ranged from 'vintage' to brand new and I never grew to like any of them, not least because they were, without exception, woeful timekeepers. Just because they are 'forum favourites' doesn't mean that they are for everyone.
There's lots that I've sold and would buy back in a heartbeat - E.g. my Speedmaster 2998-6, Zodiac 'Autavia' 7734, Heuer Autavia etc etc.

Sold my Speedy Pro 3 weeks ago.....bought this today.
I was tempted to buy back my Sub when I sold it. Got over it though.
Bought 2 DSSD blues, sold 2 DSSD blues. Might go for the hat trick 1 day

3 Planet Oceans, albeit different color schemes or movements, 3 Oris 65, 2 Fortis Cosmo Chronos, 2 Speedmasters, 2 MM300s, 2 Tunas, 2 Sinn U1, 2 Stowa fliegers. These are ones I can remember in the past 5 years and all sold at a loss within 1-6months of purchase.
At this point, it seems to be a curse rather than a hobby, always looking for the next watch...
Kind Regards,
Catalin

Nope, if i sold it was for good reason or i was just completely over the watch itself.
Im on my second 1680 sub and funnily enough this time round I love it loads more. Maybe its because I had to pay more (damn!)
I've had 4 of these, this was in the best condition of the lot but I sold it a few months ago.
I can handle it
I'm totally over it now...
or maybe not
There have been two, a Sinn UX which I sold to a guy from Finland I was working with in Germany
and then 8 years later we got to work again in Czech together and so got it back
Then I sold a LV to a chap who was living in England then moved to Canada for a year
but it didn't work out so he came back and I managed to get the watch back
Its a small world :)
Sold my steinhart Black Sea and regretted it but bought it back

My 4th aerospace and 3rd white one..... no idea why I keep flipping them!
Looking back at a watch you’ve sold is a bit like reminiscing about an old flame. You once found them attractive and interesting so it makes sense that you may still hold onto some of that attraction. But over time you forget the bad times and the reasons you split up. It’s never a good idea to go back, because it won’t be long until you’re splitting up again for a second time!
I’m always tempted to get another Sinn U1 when I see it in pictures but just keep reminding myself that when I had one I found it too big and a little too toolish for my everyday watch.

What a fascinating thread! I don't think I'd ever considered the concept that you could have something, sell it, then desire it back. Seems entirely plausible though having loved it once. But to own a watch multiple times is fascinating. A boomerang piece!
Sorry, boring ownership here. Have only bought/sold or bought/kept.
Actually on the other hand if I think photography I have bought the same lens more than once, but I think that's more about how it fits into a bag relative to other lenses available. When Nikon (in my case) brought out something new, it sometimes changes what makes best sense. But aesthetically for a watch..... I suppose I have fallen in and out of love with my watches - wearing one for long periods, then wondering why and moving onto a different one. From there it's perhaps only a small step to selling it, and wanting it back!
I sold the watch that got me "into" watches - a Citizen Eco-Drive Chronograph. Bought the exact same model back as I missed it, but it's not the same. Should never have sold the first one!
Sold this and regretted it almost immediately.
But at least changed it for an improved one with a blue dial.
I actually bought a third one but that was just to liberate the bracelet.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
3 114060s.
5 16600's but probably won't get another.
3 116710s, 4 if i include the blnr, like but too shiny to last.
