    14060M strap options

Ok first off sorry if this has been covered as a topic before recently I didn't find anything on a phone search.

I have recently acquired one of these on a bracelet and with an Everest rubber strap with it too. It's on the Everest ATM and I am loving it!

What I want to do seen as this is forever on my wrist ATM is explore other strap options. What do people recommend? Not just types of straps but specific makes too.

I really like the look of the Steveostraps and would like to find one of these that would suit. Any recommendations?

Also I am gonna invest in one of these

    https://www.pageandcooper.com/canvas...live-military/

Any other ideas? Would love pictures of yours for me to see.

The JPM vintage ones from watchobsession work well, not home at the moment but should be able to get some pics during the week.
    And the ubiquitous NATO.

Is the Everest a proper fit or modified from another model?

Phoenix Nato strap looks great on the 14060 and is as cheap as chips!

Bracelet, NATO, or nothing in my opinion. The newer maxi case Subs work on rubber, but not the slimmer 'vintage'. That's just me though.

And that P&C strap can be found on eBay for £10, just without P&C branding.

Had mine on a b/w stingray for a while, found it somewhere on fleabay. Wasn't dear either if I recall.

This pic reminds me how nice it looked so may have to put it back on again for a while.

Vintage leather, Natos, but please no rubber. Except for the new Everose Yachtmaster, I don't think rubber straps fit...

Sorry, I do not have any images but my brother wears his 14060m on a James Bond NATO and it looks fantastic. I hate to copy him but I have just asked him to order the same strap for my 14060m also.

I know t is horses-for-courses and all that but I just do not see the attraction of putting this watch on a brown leather strap at all.

Looking at the really great images on this thread confirms that the black/grey JB NATO is for me.

A excellent custom strap maker working in this style is Iyonk

You can find him either on Instagram:

    https://www.instagram.com/iyonk_strap/

or on the IWL forum (also on tapatalk)

I've one of his, specifically made to fit the extremely awkward lugs and also not to shame the condition of the battered old watch

    Two of his on Rolexes:

Wow thanks for this. I guess I hadn't truly realised wow versatile the 14060 is! Love the options so far and have ordered a few of the suggestions and will be ordering more today!

I now tend to wear mine on a NATO most of the time, but here are a few of the strap combinations.

    P&C Olive Canvas

    JPM canvas

    Hirsch rubber

    And a holiday NATO

Is that the olive military canvas? If so what are they like as they are one of the ones I have ordered.

Whilst this is my 5513 rather than a 14060M, I am surprised no-one has mentioned Perlon so far.

I find them an incredibly comfortable strap to wear, with the comfort increasing as they age:

Yes it is. Very soft leather backing - very comfortable. The canvas has frayed a bit, but not excessively.

I would buy it again. I have had to use normal spring bars, rather than the Rolex ones, as they were too fat to fit the plastic tube at the strap ends.

    Various Nato's. Mostly from Phoenix.

    No name rubber:

A vintage leather from Japan. I love this strap as its very dark brown and goes on anything I put it on. The leather has a bit of spring in it too so it feels lovely to wear and the taper to 16mm is perfect on any Rolex. Wish I new the maker but I bought it in a Rolex specialist in Tokyo years ago.

Colareb Siena is probably my fave though on this watch. Especially the black one.

Just taken delivery of some of Adi's hand made leather straps from our very own forum and have stuck it on this one of his opinions?

For me, neither. (And I have that exact brown strap, myself.)

I understand the temptation to mess around with different straps, but the novelty tends to fade fast. It's a diver's watch: NATO (if you must) or bracelet only.

    You did ask. ;)

Used to dislike the 14060m on its bracelet. Hated the rattly feel (and sound) of the bracelet. Wore it for a prolonged time only on NATOs. I've put it back on metal and... never took it off since. Enjoy the metal jingle ;) The bracelet is super comfy and practical.
