Mont Blanc - which model is this?

Can you help me finding a model number for this?

Around the nib it's says 14ct 585
And the gold rim says - 'Mont blanc classic - Germany'

The outer box says 'Siena Lederetui' but I assume that refers to the leather box/pouch.

It's around 17yrs old as bought for me as a leaving present. Just found it clearing a drawer out.

If you Google the model number 30301 on the outer box, it appears that the outer box was originally for a leather pen pouch.

I think it's a Mont Blanc Classic (not to be mistaken with the Meisterstuck Classique) in Bordeaux. 14kt nib.

There are no series numbers or anything on the pen.

Hi Morrisey, it's not necessarily a duff. I don't have a Classic to hand to check, but I've got and handled lots of no-serial numbered Mont Blanc. A dedicated pen forum will likely be able to date your pen better than I can. Classic was and still is a decent pen, enjoy!

PS I've just found an old Mont Blanc Noblese, which is a similar age to yours, no serial.

Your title mentions "Mont Blanc", but the pens are manufactured by Monthblanc. Then again, perhaps you wear a Rol Ex or a Sei Ko watch?

As per one of Brian's suggestions (above) - I believe that may well be a Generation model.

Take a look at a review here, for information, although the reviewed model has "Generation" stamped on the cap band -

The box merely shows the logo. It does not show the name of the manufacturer.

Still can't find the exact pen. The roller pencil one is £145 - so I'm tipping a bit north of that.

Nights do some further research to see exactly what I have an pop it to trade in a month or so.
