1973 Datejust dauphine hands conversion - possible?

    As above.

My late father's DJ's has the batten hands. I am thinking of converting it to the 1960's style dauphine hands. This sort of style. http://www.ebay.com/itm/WATCH-HANDS-...-/161237130189

I intend to keep the batten hands. Is this conversion possible or am I straying into Frankenwatch territory?

Any advice, ideas etc, would be much appreciated.

    Thank you muchly.

Even if it's possible you should leave it original, as your father wore it.
