Among The Allman Brothers Band's best-known songs is Jessica, from 1973, which was used as the opening theme tune to Top Gear.
IMVHO the very best 'rock' instrumental of all time.

Jessica was the 2nd incarnation of the Allmans with Betts outstanding gtr. For me, Duane was it. The organ/gtr playing on Fillmore East is stupendous - but the whole band was tight - no wonder Clapton grabbed Duane for Layla.
