Serge Gainsborough, Je taime ? It's got a girl in it I think
I've got a particular song going round my head, unfortunately I can't remember who it is by. It's sung by a French guy. In french, maybe a girl as well, and it sounds a bit like Cibelle . I would describe it as whimsical. Any ideas?
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

It's alot less seventies than that and alot quicker.

Been on Google but I'm no where near close to an answer
Off on a slight tangent, I bet most of these French ones had a full set
It's alot more recent than that Ian. I'm guessing maybe 7 or 8 years ago. The tune reminds me a bit of the first few bars of the Rainbow theme tune.

I know that it's not this, but it's an excuse to post this Georges Brassens number.
Is it 'Le Ver Lent' by Alex et Minet?
Cibelle = Si belle ? Then possibly Elle Est Si Belle by Hector Zazou & Edo ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPNPrvRgQHs
They're playing it on radio 4 right now! No idea what it is though
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

Oops - my poor attempt at humour, it was a translation of Slow Worm by Alex and Pussycat.
Noir Désir are pretty much out of favour - Bertrand Cantat, lead singer, went to prison for manslaughter after his girlfriend Marie Trintignant (daughter of Jean-Louis) died after he had hit her about the head. Also, his ex-wife committed suicide after complaining of mental abuse.
^^I enjoyed the music and video notwithstanding the above comments

I'd have immediately suggested this passable impression of a native speaker of Francais.
