Great, thanks - a good excuse to pour another Lagavulin and wait up for it. Sadly they have replace the street lights with football stadium quality LEDs so light pollution might be a problem here in East Manchester...
Just a quick one, best ever ISS sighting for me this evening at 10.20pm. Due back just before midnight. Air is clear, not a cloud anywhere.

Even with the light pollution that was amazing. Thanks for the tip off!
Ditto, thanks. Never seen it before and it was pretty cool. I looked at the tracker when it was over S. America and I thought it would take a good while to reach us. 10mins later and it's approaching the UK. That puts 17,000 mph in to perspective!

I believe it is due over again in about 30mins. Clear sky's here!

That was brilliant
Yep. Saw it again, but that was hard work due to high cloud and the world's brightest LED street lights!
Just seen it!

managed to see it last week while at work on a clear night which was great
saw this thread again and thought I'd catch it tonight, I blinked and at 17162 mph it's now heading towards Asia....bugger
Even though it's overhead every 90 minutes, it can be a challenge to get the timing right to see the thing. Sign up to the NASA Spot The Station service and it will text or email you every time there's a visible pass over your location: https://spotthestation.nasa.gov/signup.cfm
