Rather than "pm you for further details," could I repeat the request of others that you tell us the name of the business or perhaps provide a link to its website so that we can have a look at the watches for ourselves?
When members with very little history recommend a dealer there can be a suspicion that they have some agenda or vested interest. A request for private messages might encourage such cynicism. Go on, if they're great tell us more about them!

Not sure if this refers to an ebay seller who I've seen selling a few watches I've been after in the past year. Prices seem v competitive but, so far, I've not taken the plunge.

Really? Ebay link says they have a shop in Preston whereas I thought Prestige Pawn only had branches in London/Surrey.
There are two series. The daytime one is set 'Up North', whilst the other is set in Surrey/London.
I watch both of the Pawn brokers series sometimes, and all the dealers know exactly how much a genuine Rolex should weigh. Don't recall any fakes showing up but given the prices they offer they are not the place to find a bargain Rolex.
