not too shabby for a 25-year old Longines Admiral diver......

25 years old (and 4 days to be precise!) according to the ever helpful Longines Archive Dept:

The serial number xx’xxx’xxx identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel with the reference 7463, part of the “Admiral” collection.
It is fitted with a Longines caliber L633 that was first produced in 1974.
It was invoiced to Messrs’ Baume, who were for many years our agent for UK, on 22.05.1992.

Here is a pic of this 25 year old 38mm white faced lovely I took this very evening:

Time keeping is excellent, +3 sec/24hr, last serviced about 4 years ago by 'webwatchmaker' Brendan from this very parish.

    Not suprisingly it's a keeper!

    Cheers

Thank you Mark. I haven't heard from you in a while.
Perhaps I should try to make my repairs fail sooner...... (joke!).

Very nice, I keep on looking out for a bi-metal Longines admiral from the same period though prices continue to slowly climb.

Longines and Record did produce some lovely divers over the years. I suspect you could have a nice little collection going for the price of a 70's Classic Omega Diver (SHOM, Baby etc)
    Very nice watch

Love this diver - a black dial one popped up on eBay recently but I held back

    Thanks everyone for the comments

Hi Patrick, yes I saw that a couple of weeks ago. £699 or £750 or something in that region? Think the bezel pip was missing? They are definitely worth keeping an eye out for, especially the bracelet ones as it's very comfortable.

    Cheers
