    Anyone from Carlisle?

    Hi Guys
For the most heartbreaking of reasons I need to find a car wash, filling-station-based or manual - in the close vicinity of either the Eden Valley Hospice or St. Michael's Church Dalston.
I am to peform bridal transportation duties on Friday next and doubt the car will look its best after a 2½ hour belt up the M6. Bride being collected from the Hospice @ 10-30ish. I expect to leave the motorway @ jct 42 10am.

Grew up on the opposite side of Carlisle and haven't been to Dalston for a good few years. Looking on google maps it looks like the petrol station there is now a car sales place. So I think the closest one would be at the Dobies garden centre about a mile or so away. I've attached a map showing how to get there. Hope it works out and maybe someone more local might be able to help more.

The dobies one is decent just sometimes a wait, if you come off at junction 43, shiney car wash is about 1 mile down the road on the right. They are quick 5-10 mins and do a great job. 6-10 quid depending on the car size.

If you come off at Junction 43, there is a Tesco with a car wash.

Or, continue past Tesco and 500 yards or so up the road, there is a hand car wash. £6 or so and they do a cracking job.
