Saw a few posts online about these newly released Eta GMTs.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on one...
Opinions?
I like the bright and cheerful style of Farer. Good size and they look well made.
I'm really glad to see that they have expanded the range into automatics. The price point is too high for me though; 3 handers are £900 and £1100 with GMT hand.
I think a Seiko Alpinist (SARB) would be a better bet at half the money.
They look fantastic - super detailing, sensible sizing. I'm also very tempted. Let me know if you do go ahead, and what you think.
I'm very close to getting the green one. If only I could view it beforehand. Gah!
I really don't like the look of them tbh. Red, orange and white hands against a green dial looks far too hectic, and I'm afraid I dislike both the colour and the shape of the crown. In the photo the finish of the case looks quite rough, and the pricing seems far too high for what it is - particularly when you consider what else you can buy for that kind of money.
Sorry, but you did ask...

Really like them especially the Ponting. He's a hero of mine too so I suppose that could be an excuse to buy one!
I really like them, enough in fact to be slightly annoyed that the bronze crown completely kills it for me so have ruled one out. Shame.
Again, the price point...
You could get a Nomos Tangente for that money. (If you like style).
A Tudor North Flag would only be a few hundred more on the grey market. (If you like exploring theme).
There's just better value out there on more iconic pieces.
The bronze crown against the steel case is a bit odd as is small date window .
