Has anyone ever dealt with the Glasgow Watch Company or anyone know John, who owns/runs it?

That's the thing - it was there but has now disappeared :/

According to records the company was dissolved some years ago. I've never heard of him.

I know of someone called John in Glasgow, but never comes up with the goods anymore.
