While I've not been a big fan of the Black Bay range I actually like that.
Well I haven't seen any but couple of posts on websites showing people sporting their new Baselworld Tudors. Think they were in Hong Kong . Intrigued by the black bay steel, but this one not so much

I just can't get past that hour hand shape. Ridiculous, in my opinion!
Nowt wrong with snowflake hands imo.
Prefer snowflake to Mercedes hands any day. Not everything needs to look exactly like a Rolex.

Snow flake all day, everybody uses Mercedes style
it'd look better with sword hands. Mercedes are so, so common and the snowflake look awful
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Snowflake hands are my favourite style of watch hands for divers watches
Clear, legible and offer great lume.
I quite like the look when they over lap as well
They do not look good on the new chronograph however.
Mercedes style hands are awful IMO.
I can't think of a more unsuitable lumed hand set for a divers watch TBH.
Snowflake looks great on the pelagos, where the indices match it well. Looks a bit silly on the black bay.

Personally, I am a fan of the snowflake hands and even think this looks good on the new Tudor chrono.
In the latter watch, it might obscure the sub-dials a bit but you cannot have everything !
I'm a convert. Initially had my doubts. Then got a Heriage BBay Blue on a blue suede leather strap as my daily wear which converted me. Recently have acquired a Bronze which is a totally different watch to wear and delightful IMO.
Stating the obvious but all down to individual taste- I really like it bit quirky/different and not over the top.
I would like it better if it wasn't two-tone.
I love Snowflake hands, and have a 94110 as well as a Pelagos.
But I also have a 76100 lollipop - why didn't Tudor revisit that for the Black Bay???? Equally distinct from the Rolex cousin, it remains in the Tudor heritage vault undiscovered.
It is also a hand design that goes well with darts and round indices

I would be wearing one of the newer Tudor models right now but I can't stand the blooming crown spacer, it just shouts Seiko,
Looking on the Tudor website and comparing photos, it looks as though the hands on the chrono are smaller than on the regular BB. Having noticed this, and assuming it isn't just a trick of the product photography but something Tudor's done to stop the hands overly-obscuring the chrono dials, I've realised that what's turned me off the BBs isn't the snowflake design, but the size of the snowflake hour hand. On the chrono I think the hands look great, and it's now my favourite BB.
Ah so they are in Scotland. That's interesting. Might check out watches of Switzerland in Glasgow and there's a Chisholm hunter near me too. The one I really want is a bit more problematic tho. The bucherer bronze blue. Can only buy it in Europe .....

Yeah. Shame with all the song and dance about Tudor doing their own movements inhouse, that the chrono uses a breitling movement. Disappointed doesn't come close to how I feel about that. Oh and the new superocean heritage uses a Tudor movement. Worlds gone mad..

Ernest Jones, Bluewater had the two tone and the BB41 in yesterday. I wasn't expecting it but liked the two tone. The BB41 is horrible. They also had a LH Pelagos if anyone is looking.
Snowflake hands = from me.
Am not sure what is shameful about it. If you care to read, it is a very nice movement.
People love to knock off the shelf movements ( somewhat unjustifiably) but this is not an off the shelf movement.
The engineers who developed this were also involved in developing the modern Daytona caliber.
Tudor has been very open about the origin of the movements.
Nothing wrong with two big companies collaborating to come up with something good, IMO
Nahh

I think the two-tone BB would look great on a strap similar to the BBR.. but from the photos I'm not keen on it with the bracelet.
Yes it's part of the crown. Citizen do it too. Tudor flange it spacer is totally different. The comment was about the visual of it reminding him of the Seiko which I can understand kinda but there is virtually no other similarity to the Seiko so not really sure about the comparison. Hey ho. Eye of the beholder and all that. I love it
