    Black Bay Heritage ETA

I'm trying to buy an eta movement black bay heritage.

I think I've found one, but the particular jewellers is telling me it's the in house version. She's worked this out by looking at their website, which doesn't tell you one way or the other! To be honest I think she wrong, as another, more expensive shop, has told me the opposite.

What is the main differences to tell one from the other, so that I can buy the right one?

The writing on the dial will tell you straight away. The one that says something like 'self winding rotor' and the text is curved, then that is the ETA movement. If the text is straight and reads 'chronometer officially certified', then it's the in-house version

ETA has curved "self winding" on dial. In house has straight writing across dial.

As above. If it says Chronometer anywhere on the dial, then it's inhouse
It's just a matter of time...

Yes, definitely - don't think they do that model in inhouse yet.

I believe that model is only available with the ETA 2824 movement.

There isn't any guess work on this it was covered quite extensively during Baselworld.

The movement is clearly listed on the Tudor website too https://www.tudorwatch.com/watches/n...41/m79540-0001

I own the 36mm version and its a lovely watch, sits nicely on the wrist and the movement has proved to be reliable and accurate.

Nice pic by the way Alan C

I'm trying to buy a black bay heritage bronze with both straps , is it worth paying £500 more than retail to beat waiting list ?

Definitely not. You should be asking for a discount imo.

God, no! I couldn't sell mine on here and ended up selling it to Chisolm Hunter. RRP, or a discount - but no premium!
