Cool Any digital experts (Suunto) fixed

I've got a core in mint condition- popped a new battery in it today and it initially fired up but 10 seconds later the screen dimmed to virtually zero
I can't just make out it's actually running and sound and light both work it's just so weak
    Anyone have any experience

Faulty module, if in warranty book it online they'll collect it with UPS and replace it with the equivalent model.

If out of warranty they'll offer you a new one for about £90 😬

I had the same with mine. I don't think the battery contact's all that reliable. Try taking the battery out and putting it back in again and closing the back. That seemed to fix it for me.

Weel what do you know - I left it dismantled with the battery attached in a box on the 'magic' lounge table
The girls were out tonight at the running club so I thought I'd take another look- and would you believe it it was up and running (albeit in German)
Well not sure what happened but it's working bar the barometer showing a plain oblong
