I'd be furious but tbh would never put a Q watch in for 'full service' unless it needed a new module. The only one I've done is an Emergency and that was before I found a watchmaker prepared to do it. ( for £30).

Good afternoon all
I had a call from the AD to say my watch was back with them. The AD them said they have rejected the watch for the second time because it had come back with the same fault and will be sent back to Buk for the third time. Where has Buk QA gone! Would changing the movment make am differents?
Thanks
Rob
Why don't you just reject is as not fit for purpose and get something else?

I dont think it is going to be possible to get the second hand lined up perfectly and consistently
The only quartz I have had that was perfect is a 9F grand seiko
Thank you for your comments
The AD has spoken to the customer service manager at Buk to ask for a replacement the AD is not so hopefull. We will have to wait and see.
I didn't want to hijack your thread, so please find a review of my experience here.....

End of the line!
I had an email from Buk yesterday saying my watch has been tested and it is within tolerances for the second hand alinement. Even tho it is way off from 12 to 6

It's not actually broken. The OP wants the second hand to hit the markers spot on all the way round, which might seem reasonable (and he seems convinced they used to before it went for a service), but from experience it's the kind of thing you learn to live without on a quartz.
BUK has said it's within tolerance so the OP can either accept it or sell the watch to someone who doesn't care about a tiny variance in hand/marker position.
