Cooked a ten pound turkey on mine yesterday, no fancy bits and pieces, two bags of self lighting charcoal from Tesco's, bird in a roasting tin above the charcoal and repetitive coatings of Piri Piri marinade....'boootiful' as Bernard Mathews used to say. Nom, nom, nom.

Will be doing burgers, chicken pieces, sausages etc

Oops, only just spotted your post.

Too late now, we've slightly eaten it.

Or at least my lad has, having returned hungry from Reading festival.

    For reference:

    - Elvis Juice is ok in the infuser
    - chorizo works nicely in the veg
    - as do whole garlic cloves

    Sorry.

    Great pic

What is Elvis Juice when it's at home?

It does, but I'd suggest that's mainly down to the amount of moisture in the vegetables and the beer this time.

The chicken was beautifully cooked through and remained moist, despite being at about 190 degrees for 2 1/4 hours

I just roasted my beef joint on my Weber Go Anywhere. Nothing fancy done to it prior to wacking it on.

Did have, until I sold it to get the Egg.

WSM is a brilliant piece of kit, if you love low & slow proper BBQ. Not as good for high temp cooking as designed to cook low.
