Similar specs to the PRS-5. Although the precista seems a bit smoothier in my eye.

Does anyone have any experience of this model or comments?

Interesting that MWC have released a version with the Sea Gull ST-19 movement, rather than the mechaquartz Seiko. It looks bigger than the 1970s RAF chronographs on which it is based and the case shape looks less asymmetric to me. I would choose Ewan's upcoming Newmark reissue over the MWC, but if it had to be mechanical, I would go for the Hamilton Khaki Pioneer chronograph which utilises a Valjoux 7753 to achieve the biocompax subdial configuration. They can be bought for about £800 on eBay.
pseudo military watches, trying to cash in by creating homages of CWC watches which were actually issued to British forces
Fancy using that image for the publicity shot with the chrono reset so far off.
Looks all wrong to me, chunky case, too large and pretty uninspiring(plus that fiddly little crown they've used can't be nice to wind within that recess I wouldn't have thought ).
If advise keeping an eye out for nice preowned CWC chrono reissue, or as mentioned Ewans upcoming Newmark if you don't mind going quartz.

They tend to be "homages" and I'm being favourable here... to more renowned brands. Chequered history and no shortage of info on the web. Certainly claims of military association are seriously questioned.
In saying that, a lot of what they produce is based on some very popular styles and MWC may make some of those styles affordable.
Some good advice in previous comments
Late night bidding might not have been the best idea then
Well I won the auction, so this inbound, it wasn't a lot of money so we'll see how I get on.
Something that annoys me are the pretend NSNs on the back of some of their watches. It's a rather tacky tactic.
After an initial wobble from me when it arrived, I've been wearing it today, and it's staying. It wears really well, and the full matte case is nice along with the monotone dial. The nato supplied is nasty, and whoever mentioned it should have a bigger crown was correct
Looks legible like, but I heard those horrible rumours from years ago and those mud sticks . It does look a darn site better than some models they released years ago -

Enjoy
For a bit of authenticity grab a Phoenix NATO ;)
