Don't bother tbh. Petrol mower or pay someone to do it for you if you have no access to electricity.
A couple of sheep, they will keep it down for you.
I've got a Mountfield 34Li, 48v and supplied with 2 batteries.
More expensive than a cheap petrol lawnmower but no petrol hassle and a lot less noisy.
I've found it quite powerful even for long grass, and a new blade is 8 quid from eBay etc and the batteries take about 3 hours to recharge. I get about 20-30 mins per battery so should be good for the two lawns you mention.
I'd avoid the lower power ones unless it's already a well manicured lawn.
My father has a Bosch and it works well (though hasn't a huge lawn).
Essentially the same basic mower as my corded one which I've had for years.
I remember, perhaps 30 years ago, he had one which ran on a car battery.
I bought a Bosch Rotak cordless last year after a lot of research. I must say it is excellent - lightweight and the battery lasts about 40 mins which is more than sufficient for my needs.

Petrol or nothing, I've tried them all.
I've got the Bosch and find it more than adequate to do my single lawn. I've never run out of juice. I don't use it on very long grass so can't comment on that.

Also went for the Bosch, probably the 32 as well. Think it great - light, quick to use, battery charges quick etc. Got it as we had moved into our first home & had no garden shed, and the garden is fairly small. Takes about 1.5 charges for our garden, but again the battery charges quickly & there is always something to do while waiting! No problem with longisg grass. Would recommend one.
I had a similar one with a car battery but the battery was half dead!, It only managed half the lawn then needed recharging on the high setting of my car battery charger, I found a brand new and boxed gel battery from one of those little buggies that people use who can't walk too well at the bootsale and it only needed charging once per season, Had it for years but eventually the battery died, I think it went to the dump then!!
It was heavy though unlike the cordless today

I use ego power cordless lawn mower. its a great machine, low noise and battery backups are awesome.
We have the Rotak but the larger size so bigger battery(36v, 4.0 ah). I have rear and front lawns to cut. It's so quick and easy that it's no problem keeping on top of it. First cut of the year I raise the cutting height and have no problem with the power. The battery is good enough to do two cuts on all lawns before recharging. I have a tiered garden with steps down and used to struggle with the old petrol mower due to its weight. Plus servicing, general maintenance and fuel get costly. I can carry the Rotak in one hand and haven't spent a penny (apart from electricity to charge the battery) on the Rotak so far in two years of ownership.
Very happy with mine.

Don't buy anything from G-Tech we had the vacuum and it is garbage cheaply made and won't even pick up a raisin off the floor as I tried once and it failed miserably, a load of rubbish!

On the contrary, when I got mine and the family saw what it was like they all got one. I should have been on commission! It's one weakness is dust on floorboards. It's not so good with that, but carpets are great. No breakdowns from any in the two years of owning them.
Of course it won't do lawns!
Apologies for digging up an old thread but I got myself a new cordless mower this weekend and was pretty surprised how good it was for the price.
Got it from Argos, the Worx cordless lawnmower and trimmer set currently selling for £170 and I think it's pretty new (not many reviews, but mostly positive). Just the lawnmower itself is being sold at >£200 at other retailers so think it's a bargain as a cordless trimmer is also included.
Perfect for me as my garden is smallish (~90sqm) and it folds away quite compact too.
Was deciding between the Rotak 37R and Flymo Mighti-mo until I saw this.

Got this from Greenworks about 2 weeks ago. I already got a Honda petrol and a Honda electric and they are good mowers but this is a joy to use and my garden is huge.
