    Bulova Accutron Snorkel, Bargain !!!

Spotted A Sale At Ernest Jones And Managed To Order Me One Of These:

The Sales Lady On The Phone Thought They Were All Gone, But Called Me Back 15 Minutes Later And Said She'd Found Me One And Should Have It Monday / Tuesday, And The Best Bit, Reduced To £175 !!! These Are Now Discontinued And Seem To Be Going Up In Price, 2 On Ebay For £300 & £350.
The One Thing I Don't Like Is The Mesh Strap, I Prefer An Oyster But Think I Will Need A 22mm Straight Ended Bracelet Like :

Any Recommendations For Such A Bracelet ? The Lugs On The Watch Don't Look To Have Much Of A Curve So I Think Straight End Links Will Look Quite Good.

    Thats a great price!

Ive had 2 of these, an orange one and a blue one.

Like you , I didnt like the straps (though strangely! the one on the blue dialed one was a little bit better?).

The bracelet is "sort of"! half mesh and the other half (to adjust) is links?

I wore the orange one on a black, (with orange stitching) leather rally strap.

Somebody on here (sorry forgot who!) posted a pic of his on the same strap, then sent me a link as to where to buy it.

It wasnt expensive either...about 10 to 15 quid as I recall.

I'm really shocked at myself with this one. I shamefully admit that I've become a bit of a watch snob, ive not had a watch that has a battery since 1996 and I've only owned Rolex, Omega or Tudor the the past 20 years, I don't even look at "normal" watches in shop windows anymore !!! But something about this watch caught my attention, other than the price.
Here's hoping my watch snobyness is wearing off 👍

They do a similar straps with small and no perforations: https://www.watchgecko.com/catalogse...lt/?q=jonathan

Thanks for the suggestions, it was a steel bracelet I was after, although I bet an orange isofrane would look good

Interesting thread. I have mine on original mesh but with leather glued on inside for my skinny wrist.

I'd be happy to take the mesh off you if you are willing to part with it? I'd like to bling up my 96B212 :)
