buy both? or get both and move one on?
after the totally out the blue call on my Daytona ceramic I have now just had the call on a DSSD I really don't know what to do advice please.
buy both? or get both and move one on?
I'd buy both, they are completely different so why not.
If you have the cash, buy it. Is there any other correct answer?
Are you married to the manageress of that shop by any chance, no one else seems to getting a look in.
Buy both.
Cameron Blue dial?
If not, can't see the point of paying list for a Black dial version...
Buy a lucky dip for tonight's lottery. You are on a hot streak.
yep its a Cameron blue dial..................and im a little cash strapped at the moment.
Offer them here if you are unable to proceed wth one or both!
You would have no problems selling the Daytona - you really need to ignore the hype surrounding each watch and take a long cold hard look at each watch and if they were freely available in every AD and you could only have one - which one would you buy.
If you need a home for the Daytona
I would look if there is anything else in the collection which could be moved on to make room for it. Daytona is timeless and the hype will never die down, deep blue seems to be surfacing a bit more since Basel and maybe some of its hype will move toward the SD43?
If it's an absolute must have and the cash flow is *definitely* temporary leave a strong deposit and order a 0% card?
0% credit card sounds like a good idea if its a short term cash issue. I'd definitely try and get both and if for whatever reason you cant keep either you could easily sell to someone on the forum.
Some of the 0 percent cards have a 24 cm period or more. And there are many available.
I think you are only going to get one answer on here. Buy both

Decide which one you like best! If you like them both is there anything else in your collection you can move on? If not then buy it and decide which one to sell to our lovely community, I'm sure you won't be short in takers 😜
I really don't like the DSSD. FAR, far too big and the bracelet looks weedy. Daytona is a good size though.
Choose which one you want and let someone else have your slot on the other???
There would be plenty on here me included if I was closer!!
Chris
I got both of them within 6 months last year. Totally different watches, both look and wear wise.
I'm not advocating taking out any borrowings but if you did a 0% credit card would be the way to go and let's be honest, unless the entire global economy tanks overnight you can always sell either at any time in the next few months if needed.
If though I had to chose one it would be my Daytona every time.
Sell the Daytona to Watchfinder for a big fat profit, buy the Cameron at RRP and that means that you have effectively paid half price for the Cameron - bargain
I am glad for you that there is an opportunity to own two of the most sought after Rolex sports watches but am not sure how anybody can provide any meaningful advice about what to do without being in your shoes.
I am sure you know that both are desirable watches but your decision has to be dictated by your likes and finances.
You could pass on the DSSD or buy and keep both if finances permit or buy it and move one of them on.
Thanks for the advice...... I sold my whole collection for the Daytona after previously having 3 non ceramic ones..... One which my wife now has and adores but she doesn't know how too set the time so the non date doesn't even enter the equation and I really don't want too show her as there would be no novelty value anymore.
I have rang the AD and left a 10% deposit I'll pick it up Friday then consider my options.
Needy does not come close.

He already has the Daytona, as Jim Bowen on Bullseye would say, your Daytona is safe, do you want to gamble for a Cameron.
