I've never once seen any omega or Rolex etc while out and about regardless of model. Best I've seen is a (to me) crappy ladies quarts tag.
So based on your observations and mine, clearly the whole world does not.
I've been seeing them in a lot 'in the wild' lately. I go out to get my lunch and the bloke in front of me ordering a falafel is wearing a Speedy Pro. I go to a barbecue at the weekend and two of the guests are wearing Speedy Pro's. I go out for dinner at my local Turkish restaurant and our waiter is wearing a 40th Anniversary Apollo XI. Does the whole world own a Speedy now?!

I don't think I've ever seen one to be honest. The most common watch I see is the Rolex DJ.
I have a mate with one, and several people I have dealings with at work have been seen with one. Have seen a couple of others on randomers on the tube too. So certainly a fair few!
I've seen a couple, but Seamasters seem much more commonplace.
Those and Rolex Subs...
I guess divers are just popular.
M.
I always see loads of Seamasters but hardly ever any Speedmasters.

I see more subs than speedys
Never, and I see a lot of nice watches (Rolex, Omega PO, AP, IWC) where I work. If the OP isn't putting us on, I suspect they're increasing in popularity in the UK as an alternative to the harder to find Rolex sports models.
I can't say that most waiters where a watch like this
Guy must have been into watches.
I can't remember the last time I saw a Speedy Pro, but funnily enough a couple of the guys where I work both sport the Speedmaster 'Reduced'. Tudors are getting more common, as well...
I see plenty of Omegas. More Seamasters than Speedmasters definitely. Not that many subs
Never seen one in the wild, it tends to be Rolex, SMP\PO and Panerai and one lad I know has Ltd edition Chopard chrono.
Hardly ever. It's mainly Patek and Lange here in south Yorkshire.
Ive only ever seen two - one being worn by a chap from Reading who collected a watch box from me that I had listed on eBay and the other a Reduced worn by someone working in a local council office.
I see Rolex's most days and PAM's quite frequently too.
Not very often, but somehow I believe that you attract what you project.
I very much like divers and see Omega PO, SMP and Rolex Submariner quite often (or maybe it is just because they are that popular overall :D ).
I've only seen the Moonwatch once or twice.
I have seen a reduced being worn by the chap on my local post office. Two professionals in business meetings and two out in the wild!
I have seen a lot more seamasters and planet oceans!

Ive never seen a moon watch in the flesh if I am honest.
However, I dont actually see a lot of luxury branded watches unless its a mate. See a shit load of fakes right enough.
I think it helps if you work in space...
I suspect they are going through a bit of a renaissance. Though like some others I more often see the Speedie reduced and Speedie Racing plus some old MKII's and MKIV's.
My gut feel is the most commonly spotted mid range luxury watch I see on a blokes wrist is the Seamaster 300m. Followed by an assortment of Tags and Breitling. I see more woman than men wearing Datejusts. The only time I remember being struck by the number of Subs was during a Sunday lunch in Denham (Bucks stock broker belt) where it looked like every other guy had one on.
I see a lot of omega seamasters and POs, and various tags and Rolex gmts and DJs. Then again I work in Canary wharf.
When I lived and worked in Hong Kong Rolex Subs, and GMTs were everywhere. Would see Daytonas and PP Nautilus on a regular basis on the MRT. Never saw a speedy.

Never seen a speedy (except my manager!) but have seen plenty of PO, sea master and various Rolex.
On the Rolex it tends to b GMT or datejust.

I wore one daily for nearly a decade and never noticed anyone else with one. I notice lots of Seamasters, Submariners, GShocks and Breitlings though.
Got served by an elder gentleman in the local Tesco wearing one.
Seen a few on the train rides into London. More Rolex Subs though.
An Executive Director in the department I used to work in wears one. He has it set 20 minutes fast so that he's never late and it drives me bananas!
Other than that I don't think I ever seen anyone else wearing a moonwatch.
Not often. I only wear mine on Tuesdays when I remember
Think I've only ever seen one. Quite a few PO. Subs are the most common. Only ever seen one Lange in the wild, sounds like I need to spend more time in Yorkshire..
Funnily enough just saw one on a guy getting out of the office lift at lunchtime. Definitely becoming more common, but not surprising being a true classic.
This isn't something I have ever thought about but I only ever recall seeing one in the wild, as much as I love mine I actually don't wear it that often but this thread has encouraged me to wear it this week.
I see a lot of Tags out and about. Not a lot of Speedys.

Rarely. I think to the average person after a nice watch, but not really into watches, a manual wind probably seems archaic.

Very rarely and I always look to see which watches folks are wearing. Could probably count the amount of Speedies(especially Pros)I've seen over the years with one hand.
I do see alot of Rolex Subs and Omega Seamasters though.
On my travels I see absolutely nothing of any interest, certainly no Rolex/Omega, on the rare venture into my Bristol office I know there is 3 of us with an interest in watches out of 20 or so
Occasionally but v. few people where I work are into watches. I've seen a 36mm explorer and a military issue Omega over a number of years, whereas at my daughters swimming lesson I've seen parents (ie fathers) wearing a Hulk, a couple of Breitlings and the other week someone had a BLNR
A client I do work for has a MKII but never myself seen a Pro out in the wild, like others have said it's Rolex Subs or Seamasters and this is mostly in London when I go up there. I guess a dive watch has a few extra things that make it a more practical watch, like auto wind, water resistance, a date and the timing bezel is actually easier to read than those little sub dials on a Chrono for timing things up to a hour, and really you don't need to time many things over a hour anyway. Dive watch with a date imho is one of the most practical watches and useful "traditional" watch you can buy.
I see a Speedie in the wild quite often... my mate liked mine so much he bought one! now that's a glowing endorsement.
Actually, another mate also like my Bulova and bought the same one too!
Don't see too much about, although when away on holiday recently I saw a guy a wearing a Panerai Luminor which got me thinking.. which led to buying as often the case!
Don't recall seeing a Speedmaster. Although always plenty of Seamasters, POs, Submariners and DJs on the train or tube in London.
I seen quite a few recently too, in fact four or five on the last week!

Don't recall seeing any in the wild. Plenty of Seasmasters, POs, Subs, GMTs and Tags and the occasional JLC.
Not as popular as they should be but I see it more as an enthusiasts watch than anything. When you compare the price of the Speedmaster Professional to the Tag Carrera it's nuts how many Tags you see.
Online all I see are Submariners (no date) yet in real life I've never seen one but always see a Submariner Date.
Here's a recent pic of my Speedy for good measure.
As has been said previously, not very often at all (I can actually only think of one occasion), and certainly not as much one might imagine from the enthusiasm on the forum ....
Apart from a friend who has a Speedy, I have only seen one other Speedy, a Moon to Mars on another customer in a takeaway.
Honestly never seen a Speedy Pro in the wild.
Subs, DJs (lots), SMPs and POs a-plenty though. One single Aqua Terra.
I'd never seen a speedmaster 'in the wild' until last week when bizarrely the two guys either side of me in a meeting were both wearing one- one on bracelet and one on alligator strap. One of the guys took his off briefly to wind it at a particularly boring part of the meeting.

It's not a rare watch.
My neighbour wears one. He bought it 15 years or so ago, he says because of its the "Moonwatch". He often forgets to wind which of course I like to point out to him.
Recently at ISPO show in Germany I saw a very cool guy wearing a Speedy Grail - pretty much the coolest watch of them all.
Never seen one in the wild, mostly see Seamasters, Rolex Sub Dates & G-Shocks.
