This is the third time you've popped up recently with that comment on someone else's watch. Pretty bad manners.

We only have to suffer another 12 of his unpleasant posts then we can see what he has been waiting to sell.

I am obliged to Brendan who cleaned, relubed and regulated the Seagull movement and painted second and sub dial hands white - it arrived back this morning and I am pleased with it.

For the money they cost they're not too shabby at all

And the bracelet on mine is much better than those on watches costing ten times the price.
    Best Regards - Peter

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

A couple of slightly better shots. The shape and composition of the crystal makes it difficult to photograph.

    I know what you mean.

Mine has now served its purpose - as it helped me conclude that I could more than happily live with a full size moonwatch on a daily basis, in fact the Alpha feels ever so slightly bulkier due to its additional 2mm case height.

Its now on eBay as Ive bought an Omega!

My Speedmaster will sell on eBay, I did list the Daytona on there as well but changed my mind this morning - I would only end up buying another one!

I know I'm replying to an old thread but, damned if you do etc...

Anyway, anyone with a 'Paul Newman' with a horrible rattling bracelet. It's not the bracelet but the end links. Take the bracelet off and you'll see two tabs that the spring bar passes through, using some small pliers clamp these tabs onto the spring bar. Then you can also bend the end link tabs that fit under the lugs too. Refit and you will now have a silent watch, well that horrible noise will have gone and just the usual bracelet noise akin to any other watch remians)

Yep. That's exactly what I had to do. But I swapped it out anyway for a leather strap.
