Thread: Where to buy a new soft Z22?

Where to buy a new soft Z22?

I've heard a lot about the new softer Seiko Z22, and experienced one attached to a Baby Tuna, but the shop had no straps for sale.

Happy to buy online if I can guarantee they'll be the new ones. Any ideas?

    Anyone come across anything?

Does it have to be a genuine Seiko strap? Have a look at WatchGecko which are supposedly softer, more comfortable. I've never tried one but someone might give an opinion on them.

Maybe worth a try for £12 and free delivery. Good reviews on their site

I think the new strap is a Seiko DFL3EB and Seiya sells them for a hefty $74 https://www.seiyajapan.com/products/...strap-p-dfl3eb

Better/cheaper option is a Bonetto Cinturini 284 or 285, really nice comfortable straps. £28 but could probably be found elsewhere a little cheaper.

I've just bought a turtle and the seller had one of the new Seiko Z22's and I can certainly say it is much softer than the old Z22's keep hunting!

Where to buy a new soft Z22?

Interesting but getting a little confused here. Turtles come with a soft strap and metal keeper which is comfy but a dust magnet. Tunas come with a similar styled strap which is real rubber (I suppose) and not a dust magnet but more expensive. Then the classic z22 is stiff of course. Is there a new z22 that differs from the two above (turtle/tuna)? Not near my watches so can't check the model numbers right now.

Yes, that's a good idea. I would prefer a genuine Seiko strap if possible though.
