Will a diver extension fit in an Explorer II clasp?

I have been thinking it would be nice to have my watch when surfing. Will a diver extension fit in a 78790 clasp from an Explorer II (16570)?

Has anyone done this? I assume that if it does fit, a Rolex dealer still isn't going to sell me one since the watch isn't made for diving?

The Oyster Fliplock 93150 was at one time a standard option offered for the Explorer 11.

I expect that the shorter, external clasp-plate of the 78790 would not accommodate the fold-out extension of the 93150.

The best option here, I would suggest, would be either to source a full 93150 bracelet to replace or have in addition or, if you don't mind a little fiddling, just a 93150 clasp section & extension link that you can swap with the 78790 clasp sections at will.
