Steve McQueen's Le Mans film. Brilliant version on YT

Found a version with enhanced colour and audio. Something for a rainy Sunday?

There's a great documentary about the making, STEVE MCQUEEN & LE MANS - THE MAN, THE FILM or simliar,… on HBO or other sites. Worth seeing. It was a turning point in his career, a film he was aching to make and aching to make "true" to the track. The race scenes aren't film undercranked, the cars are really going that fast, especially McQueens.

    Thanks!

I had it on DVD ages ago but have lost it.

    Will definitely watch it again.

This thread prompted me to watch it on my home cinema setup for the first time (100" projected display, surround sound turned up loud) and it was awesome, thanks!

Me too, one year they gave the DVD away with the race programme!

Maybe I've watched it too much, but that version looks too BLUE to me!

The opening minute or so was enough to have me bookmark this page for lunchtime viewing tomorrow. Thanks to the OP for the heads up!
