    Ronda Automatic Movements

Apologies if this has already been posted

At Baselworld this year, I saw this poster on the Ronda booth. Could be a great alternative to ETA who, as you are all aware, are limiting supply of movements. This is shifting prices northwards. The Ronda automatic could stabilise things nicely as they are a big company and know how to manufacture movements by the thousand. I would not hesitate to own a watch with a Ronda automatic movement

Good to see some new market entrants. Have they given it the same dimensions as the ETA 2824 and SW200?

The rotor at least looks like the ETA 2892. Not sure about the rest of the calibre.

Very interesting, thanks. Hopefully they can mass produce the R150 in large volumes to stick it to the Swatch Group.

I have to agree, Swatch could possibly be alienating many of us.
The Ronda is an excellent alternative, very nice looking piece.
    Thanks for posting this!

I can't get over the name though. An old mate of mine had one of those Honda Civics that was also rebadged as a Rover 200. We called it the Ronda.

Looks like an ETA 2824 clone to me, which is no bad thing!
