Pub accommodation within 45 min of the NEC

If anyone has a recommended place to stay East or South of the NEC, I would love to hear. A good pub with good food and beer and comfy rooms. In a reasonably tranquil setting preferred. I am attending an auction and need to stop over on Saturday night. Thanks for any hints.

Warwick is nice and only 25mins drive. Stratford is probably your best bet though as loads of country pubs, and Tudor style B&Bs.

The Falcon at Hatton is lovely with coach house style rooms. Rose and Crown is lovely in Warwick and overlooks the square.

    Great food and accom
Take a look on trip advisor
Ten mins tops door to door to Nec but you're in rural village world of well heeled friendly folk

I stay there quite often as cheaper than a cab home!

+1 for the Bulls Head, although this can get busy.

Nailcote Hall is lovely, and often has weekend offers on rooms. It's literally 15-20 mins from the NEC (https://www.nailcotehall.co.uk).

It's not a pub and is probably the type of place that would appeal as a "weekend treat" type venue rather than a "bunk down stop over", but Coombe Abbey is lovely.

Thanks for the suggestions, I think the Falcon will do the trick. Much appreciated. Lets hope I can buy a car or two at the auction to make it all worthwhile
