Call me old fashioned but I'm an out and out tool watch guy - therefore, I find it a bit weird to go for PM on the likes of a Sub, but the GMT I think gets away with it.
So I'd be doing Day-Date or Datejust personally.
I am having a hankering to get a precious metal Rolex. I am looking at the GMTC in Yellow Gold, Daytona or the SubC with a blue dial. or as wild card a Day Date 40mm. I have owned the Daytona before on strap and bracelet and loved them, but these in the past where white gold also owned a DDII in white gold. But am swaying towards the GMTc or a gold Day Date.
Just wanted some opinions of those on the forum who have any of these and how they find them, I will be wearing it with my original GMT on a daily basis.

Gold DayDate gets my vote... lovely and will never be out of 'fashion'.
I had a yellow gold one, which got stolen when I was taken to hospital some years ago. I replaced it with a WG one and never liked it as much. Yellow gold DD is the business!
Funny as I am going to WG, with maybe the new Daytona below, from YG, the GMTc is a fine watch, I highly recommend it.
