    Parts needed Cartier Bezel Screws

Hi I'm new here. I discovered this forum as I searched for parts for my watch. There's lots of interesting stuff here so I look forward to joining in.

I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of someone that will have stainless steel screws to fit the bezel of a Cartier Santos 100XL.
The screws are 4.5mm long 2.9 across the head & 1.2 over the thread

    Thanks!!

I'm assuming that you've asked Cartier ? I expect that they would likely require a full service to replace these and won't supply the parts. During a service they will also replace all non-standard parts which will be expensive if you have any! You could try a specialist watch repairer like Steven Hale watches (watchrestoration.co.uk) but I'm not aware of any supplier. Someone with more knowledge may be able to help.

That was disappointing. 1 reply. Is there only one place in the entire country that have watch spares?

Jesus, I'll buy a casio next time :(

Richemont - afaik the owner of Cartier JLC and some more brands - is well known for its horrible parts availability.
They deliberately keep the parts and don't make them available to watchmakers, except to some certified ones.
For that certification many demands - expensive ones! - have to be met.
You will probably be obliged to go to one of the certified watchmakers or Cartier themselves and comply with their demands like a full service.

    Prepare for a hefty bill.

On the back of the watch there will be a 4 digit number, if you can give me that? I will find the part number for the screw for you, that should make it easier to find them, (I have some Cartier parts left and will check them for you)

Can you just double check the number, 2858 is a Santos Dumont in white gold and diamond.

I think the reference should be 2656? If so the part number for the screws is, MX001Z5D they should be about £5 each

Hi yes indeed, 2656 sorry. Amazing someone can take a fiva for a tiny screw but nonetheless I'll pay it if I can find them. Having the part number will help.
    Thanks
