In the trade and appreciate this from a technical angle and they do some cracking oneliners .... one hell of a build and there over engineering is a thing to behold

Really enjoyed this series, thanks for the heads up. Something to watch with coffee this morning. And yes, very funny at times.

    Most excellent.

I'm going to watch part 1 and then follow it through.

Watched it last night, love it. I love Nik's obsession with doing things 'right', no matter how much fabrication it requires.

Not only 'right' but also pleasing to the (technical) eye: the stepped holes, the weight saving holes all nicely spaced as if cut by a laser cutter and also the over-engineered solutions.

This is the perfect collection videos to watch when you have the man flu ( ;-) ). When you rewatch the episodes back to back, you'll notice that decisions they've made earlier, are perfect solutions to overcome problems later (much later, years later) in the build. The Premier League of thinking ahead!

I have to agree the level of fabrication that these chaps use is remarkable, though I'd love to see the "Oh Cock" out takes when it hasn't quite gone to plan.

Been waiting ages for that. The amount of engineering to me is just amazing.

Loving it. I used to do cars up with my dad when I was a teen. It's shown me that for all I thought I knew, I do in fact know next to nothing. Of course, dad and I did no fabrication as such. Up to episode 6.

Sorry for two posts in a row but - I watched all the episodes so far, 15 of them and they've been brilliant. If I had the cash I'd ask them to build me a:
Mk1 Escort, air suspension, 2litre engine, automatic, aircon and power steering and brakes (one has one's standards) but the MkI was really cool. Still is.

And it's really taken them three years so far?

Brilliant mechanics. A 'must see' in the shop next Monday.

Their planning-ahead capabilities are awesome. As said: brilliant.
