This is the next Rolex on my list. I was in my local AD yesterday and was told they don't use waiting lists but contact their previous customers first. As I haven't bought from them that's me scuppered.

I don't get why you would have to collect it ASAP if you pay in full cleared funds by card? Fair enough paying to secure but why then the urgency?

If in theory you were away that day on holiday for 2 weeks then you would be entitled to collect at your leisure and convenience.....

I have only recently joined this forum (4 months-ish) and beforehand I never really fancied being a Rolex owner. After seeing all of the lovely pieces and reading all of the great posts, I have changed my perspective entirely.

I have joined the club and am now asking myself why I waited so long. I wonder what I will buy next?

Congrats. The colour is really going to pop in this sun that we're having!

+1 - not sure why but I did have a BLNR but did not keep it. Still have The Hulk though. However, the Batman sure is appreciated and well done to the OP for getting one!

The sunshine should really bring the BLNR bezel alive. Enjoy.

That black and blue is more appealing than the classic pepsi colours

    Stunner!!

My 19 year old nephew has one of these???!!!! I thought it was a fake but it's not and he says that he can get around any waiting list just from when he worked as a trainee hairdresser and one of the clients was a jeweller who offered him any watch he wanted or could afford??!!! Just goes to show it's who you know and not what you know?!?!

    Great purchase by the way!

And the decision to contact the AD wasn't 'random'.........not by my definition of the word!

Enjoy the watch, if you get bored with it you'll have no problem selling it .
